Terranet, which develops technology for self-driving cars, says it has made a breakthrough in its sensor technology that helps cars brake in reaction to road objects. According to the company, its 3D motion awareness system VoxelFlow can react to objects in less than 20 milliseconds, beating the 300 milliseconds typically seen with conventional advanced driver assistance systems.
