ASC Presidential Search
The Automotive Safety Council seeks its next President to lead the organization into its next chapter.
After leading the Automotive Safety Council as President since 2008, Doug Campbell will retire in April 2027 at the ASC Annual Meeting. With nearly four decades of service — first as TRW's representative on the ASC Board and later at the helm of the organization — Doug has been a steady advocate for automotive safety for member companies and a trusted voice connecting industry, government, and public safety. To ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, ASC has begun the search for its next President, with a flexible start date of January 2027 allowing for a 3-month overlap with Doug. We invite experienced, mission-driven leaders to learn more about this opportunity below
