An Insurance Institute for Highway Safety study notes that 41% of accidents involving teen drivers could be mitigated or prevented using crash avoidance technology, including lane departure warnings and tools to monitor blind spots. Teen drivers are four times more likely to be involved in a crash compared those 20 or older.
